1. Gordon’s Pond

Gordon's Pond in Rehoboth is a nature lover's paradise, offering surfing, scenic trails, a tranquil beach, and abundant wildlife for visitors to enjoy.

The moniker Gordons Pond is often quite misleading to Rehoboth's visitors. And that's just fine for locals, who'd prefer to keep this little seaside gem at the end of Ocean Drive all to themselves.

While there is an actual pond named Gordons, the area is more precisely part of Cape Henlopen State Park.

Gordons Pond's beach area conveniently offers parking, bathrooms, and concessions while visitors can also enjoy the park's nearly three-mile-long trail along acres of forest, dunes, and wetlands – shared by riders, hikers, and birders alike.

The park is home to numerous species of waterfowl and is known to be a migration “super highway” for aquatic birds one of only four such areas in North America.

One of the highlights of Gordons Pond's trail is Herring Point Overlook, which happens to be one of the area's best surfing spots . Here you'll be treated to stunning views of the Point, along with several World War II coastal defense towers which line the beach.

Day pass admission to Gordons Pond in Rehoboth is $10 for out-of-state vehicles and $5 for in-state vehicles.

Urban Float's approach offers clients their own private pods filled with 9 inches of water and saturated with 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt. The float tank’s salt concentration makes the water more dense than your body, allowing you to effortlessly float atop the water. Meanwhile, the Urban Float pod's water temperature matches your body's creating a restful sense of weightlessness.

The result: an environment that slows down your body and mind to invoke deep relaxation which explains why float enthusiasts report lower stress and depression levels, a reduction in chronic pain, an immune system boost, and more.
